The Worshipful Company of Glass Sellers’ Doodle Competition

We are delighted to invite schools across the UK to take part in a free creative competition for pupils of all ages.
Win a unique piece of glass art designed by your pupils, along with cash prizes for your school.
Generously supported by The Worshipful Company of Glass Sellers and delivered in partnership with glass artist Allister Malcolm Glass Ltd and Stourbridge Glass Museum. the winning designs will be transformed into real glass artworks.
The Theme: Under the Sea

Prizes
The top three winning designs will be transformed into glass artworks by Allister Malcolm and his team.
Cash prizes will also be awarded to the winning schools
1st Prize: £250
2nd Prize: £150
3rd Prize: £100
Live Glassmaking Event
The winning designs will be made in glass at Stourbridge Glass Museum on Saturday 22 August, part of the Celebration of Glass Festival.
Exhibition
Winning and shortlisted entries will be displayed at the museum, before the final artworks are awarded to the winning schools.
Free Teacher Resources
We have created a downloadable PowerPoint and a PDF of image resources to help introduce the theme and spark pupils’ imagination. These are intended as a simple starting point and can be adapted to suit your class.
